Let the wine battle commence! Today marks the start of the 3 day Haro wine festival, locally known as La Batalla del vino de Haro which takes place in the wine capital of Rioja on St Peter's Day. The rules are simple, pour as much Tempranillo wine over as many people as you can whilst keeping your t-shirt white for as long as possible! Don't worry we will be only pouring the red wine in your glass ;) So come down to aqua nueva, drink vino and celebrate one of Spain's most exuberant festivals.
