Aquila Partnership is a social care employer partnership supporting a quality workforce. The partnership was first formed in 2001 as ACSEC, setting up as a not-for-profit company in 2006 called Care Learning Ltd and in 2014 it changed to a new Community Interest Company (CIC) as Aquila Partnership (South West) CIC. Aquila Partnership engages with employers from all areas of social care including: > statutory sector (Unitary Authorities)> voluntary and independent sectors – representing> the different aspects of social care (i. e. Nursing, Domiciliary, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol, Elderly Residential, Dementia, Direct Payments, service users and carers)> other organisations and agencies including: Skills for Care, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Care Associations, National Apprenticeship Service, Local Enterprise Partnership, Community Health Services. We provide the following services to the health and social care sector: > Membership Scheme including access to CIS Assessment> Workforce Development Fund (covering the West of England and Gloucestershire)> Last Minute Learning – A gateway to learning and development in the health and social care sector> NMDS-SC (National Minimum Data Set for Social Care) Support and Guidance> South Gloucestershire Dignity in Care Network> North Somerset Dignity in Care Network> Annual Social Care ConferenceDuring 2014 Aquila Partnership will be launching new and exciting projects to enhance and develop the health and social care sector as a whole.
