The Arab Puppet Theatre Foundation (APTF) was founded in 2008 based on the urgent necessity of preserving and perpetuating the Arab puppetry as crucial cultural heritage.

A platform to revive, advance, continually challenge and rethink puppetry on a global level. It seeks to encourage the professional development of this art form.

Throughout the years we have worked internationally, held specialised residencies, performed, and researched in a number of countries, including Abu Dhabi, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Sweden, Tunisia, UK and many more.
