Arbuckles Restaurant & Bar

Had a blue steak, was over cooked, a healthy rare but not blue. Meat itself was good, service was mixed, with steak sauce forgotten. Black and blue cheese sauce like no other blue cheese type sauce I've had before, but not a big fan. Decor needs updating. Ample parking.

I have been frequenting Arbuckles at Downham Market nearly since the day it was opened.

I have never had a problem with the staff, the food or even the waiting time for getting a table when turning up without booking (not the best idea on a busy Sunday afternoon on a summers day). This is the best restaurant in East Anglia if not the U.K.

I have seen this restaurant grow from its humble beginnings, into a large well oiled machine. The staff do not seem to change that much(which is a good thing), they are always helpful and friendly with the nothing is to much trouble attitude unlike most of their competitors!.

I am off to the restaurant with family this evening for a birthday meal! All I can say is the whole family enjoy eating here including my Grandson who's almost 4 he would rather go here than McDonald's!!!!!!

Fast friendly seating. I really enjoyed this place. The servers were attentive and took care of all our needs. Our order was taken quickly and food arrived shortly after. Tasted amazing! Clean and friendly. I can't wait to come back.

This is a nice place to eat. A good menu at a good price. Friendly staff, good food with a bar at the end. Well worth the visit. I went with a large group of 19, but we all got our meals at the same time! Had a good time at this restaurant and will use it again!

Great family "diner" with a pleasant atmosphere that always seems to be busy! Kids menu includes a selection for "bigger" kids age 10-15 which offers them something other than the usual kids' choices which is a nice touch.

Decor is pleasant and staff have been friendly and attentive on the 3 or 4 visits we've made here when we come visiting relatives who live nearby.

Prices are reasonable and the menu is pretty varied, although note if you're gluten free the options are not particularly inspiring.

Our kids (10 and 6) enjoy coming here, as do we. A good option for a hearty lunch or a relaxed dinner.

High quality of food with an enjoyable atmosphere. Waiter and waitresses are very kind and helpful as they try to give you the best experience.
The toilets where very small and very cold.

Excellent. Superb food and really good portions. Thoroughly recommend the Western Grill and the Sticky Toffee pudding. - But you need to be hungry.
