The ARC is the world's most successful ocean sailing event. It has taken place every year since 1986. Every November over 200 yachts set off from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and cross the 2700Nm of Atlantic ocean to Rodney Bay in Saint Lucia.

The fleet includes over 200 yachts and 1500 amateur sailors from more than 20 countries. These are all people realising their dream to sail across the Atlantic to the sun.
