Arc Recruitment was founded by university friends and business partners Mike and Paul during the 2020 pandemic. This became the second Arc in the pair's portfolio. Arc Hospitality (sister company) have been recruiting in the hospitality sector since 2008 and are now an established nationwide partner to over 200 organisations. In 2020 Arc Hospitality redeployed staff into new sectors to play its positive part in the crisis. Arc realised it could positively impact more people by operating in more sectors and thus Arc Recruitment was created to do just that but for the long term. Arc's vetting and training process is the culmination of many years of recruitment experience and Arc care about improving the welfare of staff wherever they can. Arc offer two main service solutions: Top-up staff – gives the maximum amount of flexibility to the client as they only pay for hours worked and there is no obligation to use Arc at any point. Managed service – allows clients to outsource some or all of 1. Recruitment, 2. Staffing, 3. Payroll and /or 4. HR Support operations to Arc. This is charged for using a managed service fee plus the labour cost if applicable. The managed service solution takes more of the hassle away from the client and is often more cost effective than in-house solutions.
