Arch Sinfonia is a cross-art chamber orchestra based in London.
Founded in 2012, by the dynamic young conductor Chloe van Soeterstède, the Arch Sinfonia has become renowned for its boundless energy, youthful inspiration and committed performances of a wide range of repertoire. Comprising musicians from across the world, the orchestra curates engaging programmes which extend across five centuries of musical history, spanning popular masterworks, adventurous cross art form projects and pieces commissioned especially for the ensemble. Recent collaborations have included projects with the Royal Academy of Art, London Russian Ballet School and the Manchester Singers.
The Arch Sinfonia perform in a wide range of settings with artists from numerous artistic disciplines. As the resident orchestra at St. Phillips Earls Court, the orchestra has collaborated with renowned soloists, such as Zsolt-Tihamer Visontay, Amy Harman, Di Xiao, Katy Wooley and James Fountain amongst others. Arch Sinfonia has given performances at the Chapelle des Invalides in Paris, LSO St. Luke’s and the Guildhall School in London. The orchestra has appeared on an adverts for Ford and Sony.
The Arch Sinfonia is on a mission to re-examine the possibilities of an orchestra and break down the barriers between audience and musicians. By inviting members of the public to sit amongst them during concerts, the Arch Sinfonia hope to build stronger relationships with audiences and increase the understanding of how an orchestra works.

Anna Kuk was born in Poland. She was studying at Karol Szymanowski Music Academy. In the academic year of 2015/2016 she was perfecting her music skills in the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, working with professor Krzysztof Śmietana. During her studies at Guildhall, she began collaborations with many British orch...estras, including Gorecki Chamber Orchestra, of which she is a founding member. She has also played with members of London Symphony Orchestra. Anna has taken part in many concerts and international festivals: BBC Proms, Aix-en-Provance Festival, Film Music Festival (e.g. with Hans Zimmer) in Kraków. She has worked under the direction of prominent conductors, including Simon Rattle, Takuo Yuasa, Michail Jurovski, Bernard Haitink, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Vasilly Petrenko. In years 2014-2018 Anna Kuk has been a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. She was also a member and a founder of the Dixit String Quartet in London, which was invited to collaborate with Wigmore Hall in the 2016-2017 season of the Chamber Tots programme. As an active chamber musician Anna has performed in many capital cities: New York, Rome, Toronto, Paris, London, Warsaw, Beirut and among her co-musicians were eg. Sharon Ensemble (Berliner Philharmoniker), Renaud Capuçon, George Hlavicka, Liya Petrova, Jakub Jakowicz, Alexander Gebert. She is a co-director and musician of Reverb Ensemble - ensemble resident of National Museum in Cracow 2018. A part from playing violin she also writes books. Her first book was published in 2012.
