ASL are available for Heritage Statements, Desk Based Assessments, Historical Building surveys and small commercial fieldwork projects including watching briefs and evaluation excavations in conjunction with a sister company.

We are a small group of qualified and experienced field archaeologists who are passionate about our Heritage and environment. The proprietor, Lisa Fisher, was an Associate Tutor at the University of Sussex whilst embarking on numerous research projects including supervising Barcombe Roman Villa Bath House in 2012 as well as directing research digs with BHAS at Varley Halls and Isfield Iron Age enclosure with the Sussex School of Archaeology. Over a period of 12 years she also took part in excavations in Hereford, Shropshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Sussex, inlcuding Fishbourne Roman Palace and Black Patch Bronze Age settlement. She is currently a Trustee for the Sussex Archaeological Society, the Brighton and Hove Archaeological Society and the University of Sussex Archaeological Society.
