Archon is creating an end-to-end integrated banking and payment service driven by consumer and merchant demand. The company is able to be competitive and disruptive in the traditional banking and payments markets through the use of developing technologies. However, the true competitive edge of the company comes from its focus upon the consumer and merchant needs as opposed to being driven by engineers. At Archon, we have identified three key user needs that we have turned into our company pillars: economic stability, cost reduction and environmental positivism. We are focussing on how to meet these demands by working closely with consumers, merchants and governments across the world. The core technology, whilst fascinating and ground-breaking, is not the user focus. This allows us to drive adoption by not only meeting key user demands but by demonstrating that we are dedicated to creating a service that benefits all users. By flipping the narrative of a fintech start-up, focussing upon the user as opposed to the technology, we are being disruptive within a disruptive industry.
