Big, bad, news: Dr Imtiaz Sardar the owner of Archway Tavern has given Koli, the licensee, and manager of the nightclub 2 months notice to quit. They have already ripped out the bar of the Tropical Bar; they are acting as if they already have consent to change the use from a bars/nightclub to a nursery, re their planning application. We need to decide FAST that we want to preserve this music & arts venue. It is possible to ask for different kinds of events, but once it's gone it's gone. @amylame the night czar has said Tav is on the radar @IslingtonBC @JunctionLabour have policies on protecting our venues - let your opinion be known as soon as possible and let's support Koli in his fight against them
