Great estate agents, we listed our house specifically for one we had seen and to avoid loosing it we rushed to get ours on the market, they came out and valued it on the next day which was the Friday, pictures taken on Saturday and on the market by Sunday, the girls really went above and beyond to get it on the market as soon as possible. Our house was sold by the Monday afternoon!



After the sale the team still helped with solicitor, surveyor and buyer queries even though it could be stressful at times they were always professional.

First time home buyers not knowing where to start with a mortgage application. Thankfully we had Jim and Hayley on our side! They sorted everything from the mortgage, to the help to buy application through to our house insurance. We managed to get great advice which got us cashback and a great mortgage. They are there everytime I email or pick up the phone bending backwards to help. Cannot recommend a more proactive and supportive mortgage advisor. Would not advise people to rent with argyle at all. As when you do it is clear you cannot make a house your home. Their inspections every 3 month are intrusive and ridiculous, as they expect everything to be 100% spotless 24/7, and if it's not you will receive a snotty letter. Families with young children (which they apparently prefer) do not have spotless homes 24/7. We once received the rudest letter about having to send in specialist cleaners if a small amount of limescale was not removed from the shower! I hate to think of the letter you would receive if the house was actually untidy! They are also poor at returning deposits and try to get any money off you they can. £90 of our deposit was lost to cleaners, For ridiculous things such as finger marks on a door which apparently requires cleaners to go in and clean before anyone can move in. Friends of ours have also experienced this problem with argyle when trying to get a deposit back. Personally if I had had good tenants who paid their rent every months on time and left the house very clean, I would cut my loses and deal with the 'untidy' finger prints on a door. It is very clear argyle stick with the people with the money such as the landlords and look down on the renters. Don't get me wrong some of the staff such as Rachel are absolutely lovely and very fast at solving any problems you have, sadly all the staff are not this nice and ruin it for the whole company.
