As part of the new Animal Activities Licensing Regulations 2018 (AAL), which came into force on 1st October 2018 every licensed business boarding kennels, boarding catteries, dog home boarding, dog day care (and pet sales, breeding and exhibits) will be given a star rating. The star rating is based on a combination of the businesses score for current animal welfare standards and risk (e.g. past history of compliance) These new regulations have been introduced to ensure animal... welfare is the top priority. You can be fined up to ┬Ż500 or imprisoned for up to 3 months, or both, if you run an animal boarding establishment without a licence, or donŌĆÖt follow the conditions of your licence. I had my inspection last week and once I receive the paperwork I shall share my official Star Rating with you all. IŌĆÖm so lucky to have this gorgeous chap as part of the pack tonight. HeŌĆÖs currently snuggled on my lap while Doogle is crashed out on the floor. I do have the best job ever! ­¤Æ£

Ted & Dexter belong to friends of ours, and theyŌĆÖve left the boys in our care. It doesnŌĆÖt take long for them to make themselves at home ­¤Æ£

Personally I think this is sensible news, although lots of dog walkerŌĆÖs pockets will suffer as a result.

Would definitely recommend Aristodogz to anyone who owns a dog. My dog loves it, the home from home environment means I can go on holiday and not worry about the pooch. Amanda treats each dog as she would her own. A definite peace of mind place to leave your dog.

What a fantastic place for our gorgeous dog Jake to be looked after at. He has received so much love and cuddles, he has been one happy dog despite us being away. Thank you so, so much. You really are a super doggie hotel. Highly, highly recommend.xx

Thankyou Amanda for once again looking after Tara, our cairn terrier so well. Although she has stayed with you many times before, this was the first time we have left her to go abroad. The reassurance that she would be so well looked after by yourself, enhanced our holiday and she came back to us a happy, playful dog who had obviously enjoyed her time at AristoDogz.

Thanks Amanda for taking such good care of Milo and Alfie whilst we were away celebrating our daughter's wedding. It was lovely to be able to enjoy the occassion knowing that our dogs were being so well cared for. I went into panic mode 18 months ago when I thought I might have had to put them into kennels as we have never done so before. It was such a relief to find you. Many Thanks.

Left my dog with Amanda at Aristodogz on 10th June. I am really fussy where I leave my furbaby but Amanda was reassuring and runs a fun but tight ship! Her home was welcoming and friendly with beautiful gardens and scenery and I felt relaxed knowing Hudson was left in a very safe loving environment. I would definitely recommend Aristodogz and won't hesitate to contact Amanda in the future ’┐Į ’┐Į ’┐Į

Gem had such a lovely time! I am positive she didn't want to come home. She came back looking so well and happy compared to other times when she went to bigger kennels. It's such a lovely atmosphere and your dog still gets that home environment whilst you are away. Couldn't be more pleased! :) thank you for having Gem xxx

Ella and Gemma had a lovely time with Amanda who looked after them as if they were her own dogs. Its such a relief to find somewhere they are happy to stay so we can go away. I can highly recommend to anyone especially if you worry about leaving them. Amanda put alot of photos on facebook so we could see how they were doing while we were abroad. Although by half way through the second week, when I saw the photos of her cakes and the dogs waiting for them I thought they are never going to want to come home! Infact Gem has spent a few days running up to strangers which she never usually does and I think she is looking for Amanda! Many thanks Nicki
