Ark Aquatic & Pet Centre (Permanently Closed)

Male staff are useless. I was sold two love birds, first one (had to be put down) after a week 3months old from a brain condition. Male has got one eye bigger than other, from over breeding. Avoid this pet shop.

Pretty horrendous. Dead fish in the tanks, wounded hamsters and birds in tiny cages. We were looking for a male Betta. We found one of them in a tank with male Guppies. Needless to say the guppies all had ripped fins and one of them was dying. The Betta completely tore them apart and seemed really stressed. All in all the livestock didn't seem very healthy.

Absolutely appalling - do not buy anything from this shop. The fish tanks are filthy and my Son found at least 20 dead fish (only a 5 year old could turn that into a game!), staff very uninterested when we informed them there was a large fish stuck in a pipe. Avoid avoid avoid! Go to Brookside in East Peckham instead - a dream compared to this place

Shop is well stocked but the tanks are in much need of a good deep cleaning, as is the whole aquatics set in general,real bad smell in the place and plenty of dead fish disappointed.

Id suggest avoid buying your fish here. So many dead and dying fish. Try the guy over in Matfield, just see the difference in happy healthy fish in clean tanks!!

Very poor conditions. Old equipment. Fish suffering. Dirty tanks. Etc. Etc......do not buy anything that is alive from here.
