1st room poky. 2nd room lovely but dark. Dinner menu same for all 3 nights. Food nothing special. Service excellent staff very friendly.

The spa is amazing. The outside hot tub is brill too. Only negative was the 2 drink limit when in the spa

An experience we shall repeat. The hotel and location are quintessential old English lakes. Come ready for all weather's and you will not be disappointed

Staff are a bit tube. Example my wife said to the waiter she didn't like sitting next to the window because the was a large wall next to her. He didn't say sorry would you prefer to say at another table.. his response was I can't move the wall..

Had a very pleasant spa day, on a deal which included a treatment, lunch and a glass of prosecco. The facilities were excellent - great, spacious steam rooms and sauna, pool, jacuzzi and a fantastic outdoor hot tub, with views over the grounds. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our body scrubs were enjoyable but felt they were slightly lacklustre (not much scrubbing going on!). Lunch was good but the environment of the restaurant didn't quite match the quality of the spa and it was a bit odd sitting eating lunch in our robes alongside normal guests. All in all, highly recommended. Would have given full marks if there were a couple more finishing touches, like more luxurious complementary products in the showering rooms.

I stayed here 5 years ago and almost everyday since think about the time I will return again to this wonderful property near the lake. The staff were attentive, professional, courteous and generous. Afternoon tea (tho' a bit pricey for my budget) was fabulous (loads of options). It exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning one day.

We have used this venue for our directorate mamagement team aways days for the past 4 years. It's a great place in beautiful surroundings for us to relax and do work away from the office. Rooms and food are all very special. The staff are all lovely. The experience is always very positive
