Absolutely ridiculous. But somewhat funny ๐
The view of another new member who recently joined us after completing 3 training sessions in his 1st week.
'A while ago i found a video from Armoured Combat Gloucester here on FB and i thought that looks wicked. After unnecessary prolonged time i went to their gym and what a first week ๐๐ they thought me all the basics necessary, later i got padded and i could let the beast go out, i found out i need to work on my "beast" ๐๐ plus i had a go with proper swords, mace, long axe... and its more difficult than many would have thought.. Everyone I've met was nice and welcoming. They all trained and learned with me with me so i didnt feel any superiority.. People should come and try, trust me its very different to anything you ever tried and with padding shield and soft swords it's safe af. First lesson is free so you can have a feel and decide for yourself ๐' - Laco Kaplan

... A great opportunity to bolster recruitment in the South West, fight in armour and also pick up some clothing, raw materials or just geek out at the other stands which will include LARP, re-enactment, tabletop games etc.
Spaces are very limited so we currently request no more than one male and one female per club. Priority will be given to those who need experience. If there are more spaces available we will announce nearer the time.
Captains are encouraged to send their green fighters and to either come or send a more experienced fighter to coach them.
Schedule and further details to be confirmed.
