With wide ranging experience on large civil engineering projects including the Rail and Nuclear sectors of the industry, Armstrong Engineering Consultants is able to offer capability in Planning Management services as a Planning Engineer, Project Management and Construction Management to clients, contractors and construction professionals. • Planning using Primavera P6, MS Project and Asta Power Project (Software provided by AEC)• Sequencing and construction phasing undertaking sketches and drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD, Google Sketch-up, MS Visio and by hand• Feasibility studies including preparing of outline working documentation, schedules, materials take-offs and plant and labour quantities. • Detailed construction methodology planning & preparing of H& S documentation (Task Briefings, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, NR and LU documentation). • Reviewing, assessing and interrogating procurement and tender information to assist in compiling a compliant tender package or in review of sub-contract tender packages. • Temporary works design, methodology / installation development and temporary works co-ordination• Planning of lifting operations and preparing lifting studies and lift plans for approval by Lakesmere Appointed Persons for lifting (CPCS Appointed Persons Card recently expired)• Permanent & temporary works design review, planning and co-ordination between trades, with the ability and experience to provide assistance and management with onsite installation /delivery, acting in the capacity of a Temporary Works Supervisor• Construction co-ordination of construction activities via planning software or detailed graphical co-ordination slides using 2D plan /layout /elevation drawings• Site Engineering activities – setting out, surveying, Health and Safety management.
