I was looking to replace a pair of Dr Martens boots and found the pair I was looking on the Army& Navy Stores website. The website is very quick and easy to use, and competitively priced. Due to a query with my address I found their customer service to be excellent. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and helpful, sorting out the issue very quickly. Delivery was next day and tracked so I was able to follow my parcels journey. Overall excellent service. I would definitely recommend using Army and Navy Stores to anyone and wouldn't hesitate in buying from them again. Definitely deserve the 5*****. Very happy and many thanks to them. Great service.

Refused to give a refund on something that's never been worn...that's pretty poor in this day and age won't shop there again and would advise everyone to stay clear

Good range of army stuff and good value.

Really disappointed with their attitude when I tried to return a recently purchased unused item. I am aware that consumers have no rights to a refund when an item isn't faulty but to say "we don't give money back" in such a rude manner and then to provide a credit note only valid for 3 months is pretty poor these days.
Accepting returns is about building a relationship and goodwill with your customers. Had they have shown a little empathy I would have been more encouraged to shop there again. It would have cost them nothing to refund it but now it's cost them a customer and even worse, a bad review.
Beware of buying here if you think you might need to take it back and you won't be happy with an exchange.

Disappointing to say the least. I originally clicked on their website thinking it was the original Army & Navy Stores that I remember when growing up. Unfortunately it isn't (my fault for not checking my facts) but instead is just one of countless army surplus stores you can find up & down the country. This place is merely trading on the name of that previous brand. My experience with them was not good: two orders placed - both with incorrectly described goods - cheap made in China items - and really poor customer service to follow, with a very bad attitude exhibited by at least one member of staff. So following this I won't be shopping with them again, and based upon my own experience I couldn't really recommend them to anyone else either. You'll get similar (and better) quality items on Ebay and you'll also have the added benefit of better customer service, as opposed to the poor goods and service from this shop.

What a fantastic store!

The staff were friendly, competent and extremely helpful and it was great value too.
