Today marks 100 years since Armistice which led to the end of WW1; one of the most deadliest conflicts in history with over 16 million lives lost.
ATR(W) held a Remembrance Parade today, to honour the bravery and courage of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, in WW1 and in conflicts since.
“When you go home, Tell them of us and say, For your tomorrow, We gave our today.” 🌹

Yesterday we took our son Ryan Thorpe to start his phase 1 training. As you can imagen as a mother I was extremely anxious. However everyone we meet put us right at ease and made us feel welcome, the talk was informative and the tour of the barracks help to reassure us our son was safe.

What an outstanding ATR, A real credit to the British Army.

The training they give shapes our future soldiers and creates a untied and stronger army.

I am very proud of both of my children both soldiers one of which is ready to pass out this week from here. Not only has he had an amazing experience a great and bright start to his future career with the British army he has had outstanding Officers and amazing support from the corporals and up.

I went through trg in Winchester in 2000, loved every moment of it and the Instructors were great, some of which inspired me to grow into a better disciplined and stronger person. Instructors whom I look up to to this day . So proud of my lil brother David Sunaki who is doing really well with just 4 days till his passout. He has grown in confidence and strength and loving every minute. Thank you for all that we're being taught, thank you for giving us the experience and opportunities we never thought we could achieve. David loves it at Winchester and no doubt he will miss it so much like I do. Thank you to all the staff and Instructors for your hard work and dedication. Onwards and Upwards
