We returned home yesterday after 2 nights at Arosa...Scarborough is only an hours drive from us so we tend to go camping to this area a couple of times a year, but this was our first visit to this site - i can't believe I have only just discovered Arosa. I wish we had found it a few years ago! Its absolutely ideal for us - great family bar with added outdoor area, games room, play area, and a burger van open for breakfast and burgers, chips etc on an evening too! All food and drink on site is very reasonably priced and great portions (ive been to other sites where its just too expensive to eat on site) and most of all, the staff are all really lovely, friendly and genuinely nice. We will definitely be booking Arosa for next summer and booking for 4 nights rather than 2 in future!! I've left a review on TripAdvisor too as i feel we have found a little gem of a site xxx

User

We have loved our stay at Arosa. We wanted to stay an extra night but it's fully booked. Friendly helpful staff and great facilities for the adults and children. We will be coming back next year.

User

The staff are so friendly and i couldn't ask for more frm them. We camped for the wweekend so travelled light. The butty van on the campsite made the best sausage butties. My granddaughter love the kids play area. There was plenty of space for her to run around too. We will definitely be back. Soon.

User

The site is so friendly and has a lovely feel, pitches are maintained well.

All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I love the Peaky Blinders themed bar and I’ll be keeping an eye open for the themed night in September

We pitched up in an absolute downpour and luckily for us the sun was out on day 2 and the camping area dried out.

Site facilities are lovely and clean and the Grandkids love the play area.

We will definitely be back

User

Stayed this weekend for the first time just love it here we booked to come back at the end of the month lovely staff couldn't do enough for us thanks so much guys see you soon xxx

Myself and my family were looking for a new campsite this year after we had a horrendous experience previous year at a different location (ellaburn).

Visited the Arosa caravan and camping park (July 29th- 3rd Aug) and we absolutely loved it! The games room and play park were a huge hit for the kids and ‘joes bar’ in the evening all the adults enjoyed ( especially the karaoke) The customer service was 5* nothing was a problem and the little shop on site was very useful.

Would 100% recommend for Any couples/family’s

Little supermarket down the road, Scarborough and Whitby less then an hour away it’s the perfect place for a caravan and camping park.

highly recommend a visit to the “forge valley”lovely walks and streams in the forest.

we will 100% be returning many thanks again for your hospitality. Jess and Rik and Ella

Great site made so welcome ... Just had the last 2 bank holidays here for a week at a time ...Everyone so friendly ....Toilets and shower block very well looked after ...Nothing is too much trouble for any off the staff....See you all again for a week at August bank holiday ....

User

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were looked after in every way. No extra charges for a late checkout so we could enjoy our day, electric was cheap, food was outstanding, beer was great and so much cheaper than we are used to paying. Great facilities, loads for the kids to do, great layout and an ever expanding site with a lot to offer in the future. Stayed one night and signed up for a seasonal pitch!!! What more can we say. See you soon.

User

Brilliant family friendly site... my little ones loved the freedom to play. Other campers really mindful too.. great facilities.. including nice little bar... great food from both the burger van and meals cooked from the outside bbq... had a fab steak.. differing theme nights on some nights...staff really fun and helpful too.. lots to do in short driving distance from the site. A superb all rounder... had a super time.. Will defo return..

User

lovely, friendly, welcoming camp site with everything you need, its my forth time here and always have a good and relaxing time. clean fertilitys, good food and welcoming staff. Lovely family friendly site.

User

We have stopped at this site 4 times now and have to say we love the staff the facilities our kids love it. The beaky blinders bar looks lovely. We came away early this time not because of the site but a family that had 3 or 4 tents pitched at the side of us swearing all afternoon while our kids were playing by the tent and when I mean swearing it was vile. They were drinking all day so got louder and louder. They had loud music blasting from the cars. The were too lazy to go to the toilets so were using behind the tents as a toilet facility. People like this need to have respect and consideration for others. They were letting kids play in the car so for about 1 hour all we heard was car door opening and closing constantly. I think we were very unlucky I did mention to a staff member on our departure that we we were leaving early. Before this family arrived we were loving it.

I think site wardens do need to walk around the site and Need to be aware of what’s going on if this had happened they would have heard everything themselves and I think rules should be put in place and on a board for people to read on the tent field re music and strong language and using behind a tent as a toilet is a no no.

User

Although it was a wet soggy few days the camp site owners were very helpful.they helped push our van into pitch and off when we left.myself being disabled had trouble getting into shower but again they were happy to assist.i have no complaints at all our pitch was close enough to kids playground so we could let our 6 yr old play and not have to leave van I would def visit again

User

This was our first time here,on arrival we were greeted by 2 friendly guys one of which took us down to our pitch(in the paddock) given 2 choices of pitch and took the one suggested by the guy....side on to the park which would've been great as we have an 8 yr old,all set up and ready to relax next thing we have loads of children riding bikes down the hill right behind our van(nobody told us this was a bike track) when i asked them to stop I got dirty looks eventually they did stop for all of an hour and then back at it but this time they were crashing into our van,I spoken to the guy who took us to our pitch to be told it's a kids park what do you expect? If you show me who they are I'l see if I can have a word. as I explained I'm all for kids "playing in the park" just not riding bikes into our van this resulted in us putting our wind break behind the van to stop them going into it but that then made then keep running behind it,we arrived on Saturday by Tues we was ready to leave but as we paid our money we decided to stay the week, then on a few occasions there were older kids at night 10.30pm playing/messing about in the park and other campers complained about them and some campers in tents facing us with young children got spoken to as though these children were theres only for us to find out they were children of the owners/people that actually lived there. The site was nice and kept clean can't fault it for that, but as for returning I don't think we will be.
