The staff here doing an incredible job under terrible conditions... Conditions brought about by a Tory Government hell bent on ruining everything owned by the public. Keep up the good work Arrowe Park.

Took my girlfriend there today for a routine 8 week pregnancy checkup. The midwife there took my girlfriend to one side and asked her if I was abusing her at all. Totally mortified that this is even a relevant question to ask a happy couple.

I have been here more than several time for broken bones and they have done a sterling job 95% of the time no complaints.
This is where it ends, They failed to diagnose the onset of Dementia which were present on a brain scan performed on my mother in 2008. A diagnosis was then performed in 2014 of Vascular Dementia following contact being made by the Local Adult Mental Health Team at The Stein Center unbeknown to me (see review). That's 6yrs of lost treatment and follow ups. Is it lack of communication? Medical negligence? My mother was not prescribed any of the treatment that is available to slow the condition down. This is because no one diagnosed it back in 2008. My mum continued with her life not knowing or understanding why she was feeling confused more and more and neither did I her only son we thought it was just old age.
The finger pointing has now started with Arrowe Park suggesting it was the G.P.'s responsibility to chase the Scan Results up. We cannot help but feel let down as the factual evidence is there but neither side will admit responsibility. My advise to anyone is research your loved ones illness and always ask questions about their treatment.

Took my Mum to out of hours, saw a nurse who was absolutely brilliant, so kind, caring, and ver, very thorough. Referred us to the Ambulatory Care Unit,
Staff there just as kind, caring and again very thorough, although my husband and I were not patients we were offered tea, coffee, sandwiches or biscuits throughout the day. The young Doctor finally admitted Mum into the hospital due to a badly infected arm. He arranged more blood tests an x-ray of her chest and arm and arranged for some intravenous antibiotics. She was admitted to Ward 26 and again the staff have been very caring despite the never ending workload I can't thank them enough. Brilliant

My husband was recently admitted with severe stomach pains on a Friday afternoon. The treatment and service he received from all the staff has been fabulous. He was taken for a CT scan at 21:00 and the preliminary report was on the ward within the hour. From the nurses to the domestic staff we could not fault them especially at a weekend when generally you hear that nothing gets done on a weekend. The ward was clean and I was always able to find someone to speak to about my husbands treatment. The only fault I found was having to pay £10 to get his car out of the car park as he took himself to the walk in centre and I couldn't get to the car within the 4 hours time limit but even so part of me doesn't mind paying this if I know the money is pumped back into our fabulous NHS who get a rough ride far too often. We have never had to use the hospital much but on every occasion we have I only have praise for the staff. Well done guys keep it up. Please could these comments be shared with the staff of the ESAU and the staff on ward 14 thanks

A & E can be problematic, avoid the weekends if you can, otherwise once you are in their system for long term illness the service is excellent.
