Art-K Dorking

Art-K is an art club for children and adults that will run sessions from November in Dorking. We have developed an art curriculum which is engaging and fun whilst developing crucial skills at the same time.

Art-K is an art club for children aged 6-16 and adults. The original art-K has been running in Ashtead for 17 years but we have just launched the branch in Dorking.

The children will be doing age-based projects covering a wide range of mediums and techniques, including: acrylics, watercolours, pastels, oil pastels, clay, papier maché and paper sculpture.

As well as covering long-term projects we will be building up their visual memory so that they can draw from their head. Through art we aim to build children's self esteem and confidence, which has a positive effect on their academia and general well-being.
