Art Of Spellbound Description
I learnt to draw when I was a boy. I started to airbrush in 1987. I started my business spraying t`shirts in 1989 calling myself ARTRAGE.
I then started attending Bike Rallies in 1991 and specialised in painting leathers and t`shirts, I then called myself SPELLBOUND.
Progressed to painting bikes vans and Lorries.
Got a job after children came along.
Restarted the business 3 years later a well as working full time.
I have now learnt to carve and work with other mediums. I intend to be working as ART OF SPELLBOUND full time in the next 3 years.
I attend festivals and Gatherings to sell my creations, I also do mail order.
I have met some fantastic people on my journey and I cannot wait to get the chance to make new things when I can.
I really do appreciate you liking and sharing my creations.

I embrace the whole visual, and spiritual atmosphere of the festivals and look forward to the music and overall experience each time.

Tomorrow I shall be at Glastonbury indoor market at the assembly rooms sharing a table with the amazing Melanie Brear Art This will be my first time trading there thanks to Melanie as I've never been able to get my foot in the door so gave up asking years ago. Here are a couple of masks that I shall display. I will also have a few carvings that are all reduced ready so I can start afresh in the new year.

Greenman mask created using 3 layers of leather, and decorative tree fall from Herbswood. Created within Radagast the van. Oak, Alder catkins, Larch twigs with mosses, and small leafed lime. £110. Message me if interested :)

Just arriving back from Holland. I'm now recharged and inspired for new art projects and am itching to create some magical and interesting things. Watch this space!
Crystal Dragons sold to this lovely new owner. Not only a lovely chap but his Mead was amazing too! Castlefest is the best! I highly recommend you come and have a great time. Too many good bands to mention but fabulous to rock with The Dolmen. See you all again!
Hello everyone. Some of you may remember a while ago when I posted about my daughter Chloe when she suffered with Cancer. Here is an update on how she is doing now. She is now 17 and her voice came back even stronger ( she has some pipes!) She continues to be an inspiration. I'd love to share with you her first you tube song. My Stand at Castlefest. Lisse Netherlands.
Dragons completed now for Castlefest. The clusters of Crystal are Obsidian, Smokey Quartz and Selenite. Approx 4' tall. Please share among your friends, every little helps ;) many thanks :)
This pyro carving is based on a mirror carving I did a few years back. Woodland Dragons. Mother and cub. Used natural Danish oil and really pleased with colours. 4' tall. Another for display/sale at Castlefest in Holland soon :)
It's an experiment with fire, carving, sand paper shading, Oil, and varnish. 4ft tall Wizard.
Just started a 4' Merlin carving. I don't know when to stop working sometimes! He'll be finished by end of day tomorrow. I did similar technique in my van.
A close up of of the obsidian, Smokey, and selenite.
Shiny sparkly magical mirror frame thanks to my app anyway. The cluster central is obsidian which is then surrounded by Smokey Quartz and selenite incased in resin.
These are the ideas I'm toying with. These carved plaques can either be wall hung or used as table mats or place mats. They are centrally flat so you can place dishes on or whatever.
God/Goddess of fire. Airbrushed Opaque yellow with deep red overlay then hints of Gold pearl. When it's lacquered it will come alive. 3 layers to fix together.
OK I've managed to finish the crystal Dragons. Enhanced with selenite and Quartz which are coated in resin. An orange Calcite orb is encased at the top. The mirror has soft white LED Lights fixed to the back so it glows off the wall. Mirror sits an inch away from the wall to achieve this. Access for the lights to show through the crystals was achieved by drilling behind and placing lights close to the crystals. Measures 45" x 30".
