Art Therapy In Cambs Description
An internationally experienced Art Therapy clinician, tutor and supervisor, I aim to offer:
1. person-centred individual or group Art therapy
2. bespoke clinical support to teams and groups from a creative, art therapy based perspective. Influenced by an eclectic range of theories and practices including Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness, Mentalisation, Humanism, Behaviourism, Solution-focused therapies, body /sensory work /integration, digital media and non-verbal communication. Thus enabling you to reflect, explore, plan, gain confidence and maintain well-being in your work with vulnerable people or high pressure environments.
3. Discussion regarding a referral, and recommendations on for appropriate arts therapists in East Anglia and London as required.
4. Community arts groups /events with vulnerable groups especially those requiring safety enhancement through expertise of risk assessment, planning and management with a therapeutic overview.
5. Workshops and one-off lectures regarding Art Therapy, creativity enhancement, anxiety management and personal well-being through insight.
You may be an individual wanting personal support, or working with a relative or in a professional caring capacity; you may be a small staff team working with people with Mental health issues or learning disabilities, physical ill-health, palliative care or probation services; you may be a manager of a team of volunteers, or teachers working in high tension educational environments; you may work within corporate agencies under commercial pressure. . . . and so on.
All ideas, groups and configurations of groups of people considered - bespoke interventions, teachings, workshops and lectures created.
