Free Gamelan music/ drumming session for local groups!!!!!!
Local groups are invited to book a free Gamelan music/ drumming session in Beeston with flexible times available 20, 21, 22 march taking place at Beeston Middle Street Resource Centre, 74 Middle Street, Beeston.
No previous musical experience needed!!!!
... This is a fantastic opportunity to try something new and have fun learning to play the amazing instruments of the Gamelan percussion orchestra made up of giant hanging gongs, metallophones and drums and just for these limited sessions its free!!!!. The sound is relaxing, tuneful and therapeutic with layers of rhythms.
Sessions are led by friendly and experienced facilitator.
