So they have a smaller selection of products than you'd find in a bigger town and as their turnover is lower they have to make slightly higher margins but that's hardly surprising and while you may have to pay a couple of pence more for a micro sd card or something than you would online you get the product there and then with a smile and helpful advice about that and any other electronic product they sell and even some they don't. They sell some second hand as well as new stock and they will order products in for you if they don't have them in stock.

I brought a speaker system for my phone and mp3 player that turned out to be fine at the high volumes I checked in the shop but there was a lot of hiss at low volumes which I only discovered that night at home. I took it back over a week later to ask for a credit note and was given an apology and even offered a cash refund! That sort of attitude is all too often missing in larger shops that might have complained that the box was damaged or something. They offered to source a replacement product as well but I needed more time to think and ended up buying minirigs from their Bristol shop. I will use the credit note to get sime micro SD cards and a stereo splitter cable. Very happy.
