Arts Club East

Arts Club East is a private members' club for artists, writers, poets, filmmakers, media and creative people. We have a unique offering with an engaged friendly crowd of like-minded individuals who enjoy an informal atmosphere. We run events that engage our members and start conversations. Come and start a conversation at Arts Club East Gray Fairfull – Artist – Poet and Philanthropist, donating time and money for the benefit of the creative arts and underprivileged children, literally getting down on his hands and knees very two years for Comic Relief Pub Crawl. At South Bank University Gary where he studied and gained his Bachelor of Arts Business degree he was elected the chair of social events committee. He moved to East London in the early 90's and became a major influence on the changes that were taking place in Shoreditch, across both businesses, and night-life. In business, he formed the first tech company in the east London, AMXdigital. AMX was responsible for the world first when they webcast Orbital from the Royal Albert Hall. Gary became the unofficial social secretary to the Young British Artists (YBA's) and would hang out with Kate Moss and Fran Cutler's crew at his Cremer Street spacious loft apartment. Gary's Place on weekends was to see, Sunday Newspaper editors rub shoulder with Hollywood actors, Jude Law & Kiera Knightly, singers Madonna, could be seen chatting to Badly Drawn Boy and getting drunk with the Alabama 3. There then followed Plough Yard where he ran his shabeen above his legitimate art gallery FMCG. Exclusively group exhibitions, artists such as Tracey Emin, Sarah Lucas, Jake and Dinos Chapman amongst many others. These various incarnations have led him to Arts Club East, his new members bar above the White Horse Strip joint in the heart of Shoreditch. He has most recently arranged with Blacks Soho a reciprocal membership agreement the oldest membership clubs with the newest and Soho with East London.
