A great way to give something back to the Artz Centre! 💅🏻💅🏻

One of the most eagerly anticipated dates in the 2018 show calendar was always going to be this event. An amazing night of musical theatre hosted and performed by 3 of the best Artz students ever.
With nearly 100 shows, 7 awards and countless brilliant performances to their name Aaron Ormesher, Matt Alty and Joe Howard will take you back through their Artz high adventure.
The lads will be joined on stage by some fellow students past and present, to help relive some of the m...ost memorable moments of the last 4 years. This maybe the last time that these 3 great friends will appear on stage together before they embark on the next chapters of their education.
Tickets are expected to go very quickly, so book them as soon as possible. For those that have enjoyed watching these lads perform over the years know that they are in for a very special evening indeed.

Starting next week at Artz Centre for a few hours in the afternoon, we will be running a programme for teenage girls, which will help to inform our new film “Exposed” which will be filmed later this summer.
This is a creative project that will focus on relationships. We are encouraging senior students from year 9 upwards to join us.

Some great shots today from day 4 of our holiday camp.
The students had the chance to play around with make-up ideas and soundscapes while practicing their discipline.
The results were superb and after an early set back on points, Adam’s team came from behind to snatch victory in the table game.

Well done to Emily and Megan today after successfully leading their team to victory.
Today’s challenge was dance and the work, as usual, was of an extremely high standard.
We also had some hotly contested challenges and a national flags quiz, and let me tell you that some of our younger students have a vast knowledge of which flag is which 😊
... 2 days to go with many more challenges to come.

We are delighted to hear the news that our short film Crossing The Line, will now be used as part of a “NATIONAL” strategy to help young people understand the dangers of #organisedcrime #knives #gangs and #criminality
This comes in the same week as we have received another commission from the CSP and PCC to make a film about the dangers of #Sexting, this film is also intended to be used as a NATIONAL tool and will be filmed later this year.

The small side of our main hall now has a lovely coat of polish on it 👍🏻 it looks as good as new!
Thanks again to our cleaners at the weekend who’s hard work made tonight’s job a little easier.

A very busy and fun packed start to junior camp today 😊
All groups were challenged to create a new holiday based sitcom, and the results were weird yet wonderful.
Smiles all round and already new friends made.
... If you have a child between school years 2 and 6 then send them along to the Artz Centre this week and get real value for money.
It’s only £13 a day and it runs all week from 9am till 3pm.
