If you won’t look after your employees at a time like this, then you don’t deserve to have a business when this is all over. I have heard of some horrendous behaviour by business owners. We are doing our utmost to care for our staff’s physical and mental well being, in every way possible, whilst this corona virus pandemic is ongoing. If you can’t say the same then you should be ashamed.

The Government has today announced a 6 month suspension for all MOT tests commencing 30th March. Garages are expected to stay open for essential repairs and MOT stations will still be able to offer MOT’s. The onus is on YOU to make sure that your car is roadworthy if you decide to take an MOT extension. You will still be prosecuted if you are caught driving a car that has defects. YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO GET YOUR MOT IF IT IS DUE.

As we are still on the government list of business categories that should carry on providing a service, we are doing our very best for our staff and customers in these difficult circumstances. However, we have noticed that some of our more elderly customers are still taking risks. If you are lucky enough to have an older generation in your family then please take care of them. Tell them they don’t need to book appointments in person. They can telephone. If that annoying little noise has been there for months then it will probably be fine until it’s safe to venture out again. When I deliver their car back to their home, they don’t need to come out and chat to me whilst I’m sanitising their vehicle. They shouldn’t even be out if we want to keep them safe. Let’s spread the word and make sure they’re still with us this time next year.

All hands on deck in the office today. We’re open as normal but we do request that you respect our designated safe working space. We also ask that customers pay by card where possible. During this difficult time we can no longer allow customers to wait in reception. Please bear with us as we try to keep our staff and customers as safe as we can.
