Iv shopped at asda for years. Its a pity most stores in Newgate st. Bishop Auckland have moved just out of town to a new retail park but good asda ia still on my doorstep. With the same faces and outlay its a pleasure to go.

I have visited the store today, returned home to later find i had misplaced my shopping bag containg my purse and mobile phone, returned back to the store in a panic to discover it had been retrieved by one of the porters, i could have kissed him, thankyou so much!!! and the staff on the customer service desk were great too.

Love asda. Clean bright and nice staff. Even though its a bus ride and theres an out of town shopping centre closer.

Bad management, they allow PARKING EYE to try to convict with a parking fine, even though both attendances were only 20 minutes long. What they did because I attended at two different times through the day is take the first starting time, and then the end time, which was on an evening and try to set me up as over 5 hours of stay. Don't trust them, the manager didn't care and when the superior manager returned off holiday he said I agree with my colleage. It was not until i produced CCTV footage that they all shut up and after providing this to Parking Eye they cancelled the ticket. Don't trust Asda, they employ Parking Eye to do this job, they said they don't to me, but after further research they pay Parking Eye to fine customers!!! One visit per day, don't end up a statistic!!

Asda Store In Bishop Auckland Is A Big Store With A Lot To Offer. Great Deals With A big Car Park. Some Staff Are Just Amazing And Go That Extra Mile. But There A Few Where I Would Say They Don't Have Any Customer Service Skills. " You Can Have A Great Store But The Staff Are Your Faces To Gaining Regular Customers " Customer Service Is A Key Point! " Room For Improvement, Staff Need More Training In Customer Services "

Tried to return a faulty hairdryer today bought last July so not even a year ago! No joy wouldn't exchange or credit me only used about 6times NOT happy very bad customer service and surely they legally binding to replace?

Good spacious store with a very good choice at competitive prices.
