Asda Hazel Grove Supermarket

Good variety of products available but I wouldn't compare it with large Asda stores like one in Hulme or Tesco extras as they're super size stores. Free parking as well as disabled parking is also available. Its easily accessible, and staff is helpful

Zero consistency from staff. Was declined some beers and month ago by supervisor Jessica n co, was very annoyed as it seemed like staff exercising their small powers, but I let it go.
A month later and the supervisor I argued with comes over with a big smile ' let me just approve that for you' she says
'Do you not want to see my ID?' I reply, after she has already approved...
If i didn't look at least 25 a month ago, how is it such an easy decision now?

I love Asda and enjoy shopping there .But I do feel a Public toilet wouldn't go a miss .Also somewhere to sit down .When you have physical problems like back or legs .It would be good to be able to rest a while .This is what Hazel Grove Asda is missing .

Parked near entrance got my groceries went to checkout and on my way again staff very useful

Not big enough but its a very nice store to buy things. Good enough spaces for parking.

Jumped up staff supervisors and management squeezing whatever power they can out of the petty pointless jobs they have. I'm 28 and was refused service for a few beers. Showed them enhanced disclosure to try help also have tattoos up arm despite this i was embarrassed in front of the whole store. American corporate customer disservice rubbish.

Very helpful assistant showed me where the picture frames were. Sorry but I didn't get her name.

I like the service and you have got the post office there and staff are very helpful

Small quick shops. Needs more Lego. They don't stock most of the stuff we have on our shopping list.

Good store but car park is awful to navigate and really tricky to get in and out of

This Asda store is the worst I've ever been to!
1. Shelves are often empty of various provisions.
2. There are no manned tills open after 9pm even though the store is open until 11pm most days, as the check out staff go home. You have no option than to use the self serve positions.
3. The store in general is dirty.
4. The car park is absolutely ridiculous being split in two by a 'fried egg' roundabout! However the entrance is off the A6, in Hazel Grove, which is a total farce as there is no filter on the traffic lights, coming from the North, to take a right turn into the car park.
5. It is in the most inconvenient location possible!!

Unfortunately they use Parking Eye in their car park. Just paid £40 in parking fees to shop there. Won't be visiting again any time soon.

Too small of a building to be used as an Asda in my opinion, aisles are too small, always very busy, and items are kept in weird locations making it hard to find stuff. I'd say avoid.
