The shop is really good and also free parking, however the staff in the mercury branch is unhelpful and rude (cashiers). When u compare to Tesco roneo corner, the staff really make an effort to help u. I have been shopping for years in asda, if I ever need to use it again I will use the self service machines. No wonder cashiers are losing their jobs to machines

The worst experience of my life after 6 years of shopping with these people. Had a few meat bags in my trolley needed for my meat veg and fruits. This STUPID,UNPROFESSIONAL,RUDE MUSLIM female employee came to me while I was at the checkouts unloading my goods, comes up to me saying that I cannot have all the meat bags in my trolley and I have to pay for the meat bags. I put the meat bags back down that she had no right to be touching that was in my trolley along with the items that I didn't finish putting on the convey belt and she called the security guard for me. I felt so humiliated as I am heavily pregnant with my two year old son shopping and cannot be handling meat without the use of meat bags and to call the security guard over meat bags that are free is just ridiculous. To add insult to injury when I informed the manager the security guard who I thought was nice who my son always runs up to when we go to asda,lied and made me out to be the aggressor (highly dissapointed in his deceit to cover for his colleague) will never be shopping there ever again. The amount of money they get from me a month,I will be using elsewhere from now on.

Good choice of products at a reasonable price, though not necessarily cheaper than other chain marts. The staff were friendly. The aisles are well numbered for easier buying guide.
There is also a small Halal meat section for those who prefer it, though not many choices.

I went to try out the gluten free sections.fantasic range and choice.impressed.was served qickly and efficiently.shop was clean with spacious aisles

No different to other Asda superstores, it is just easily accessible from The Mercury

stressful and staff made me feel uncomfortable. its very cramped too just go tesco or sainsburys instead

Disgusting and vile customer service cashier I have ever came across. Basically told me to get off my phone call when trying to ask her for cigarettes. Disgrace to ASDA Bad Customer Service. She is always rude and arrogant to customers (Old, Short, Glasses, Blonde/Brown Hair - Watch out for this washed up old one ppl)
