Asda Twickenham Supermarket

Staff are very friendly and it’s an easy store to navigate around. They’ve often got exactly what I need (diet soda), and whatever I need that they don’t have (vegan pesto) I can get from the massive Tesco just a few minutes walk away.

I saw someone walking around the aisles vaping once. I shot him quite a stern look of disapproval, but I thought the staff should’ve dealt with it.

Having a great time at ASDA Twickenham. The authorities are friendly and very helpful.

I find their selection weird. Some things that I would expect in most supermarkets they don't have but then have random things. Not the best Asda I've ever visited

Good local shop for bits and bobs. Always a good experience so nothing to complain about.

Good customer service and very cheap always have what your looking for

Today's Ivybridge (Twickenham) ASDA shop was not a good experience (16 July).

Just after 11am there were already long queues for checking out and one checkout (unmanned) stating "Cash only".
Someone told us the problem was caused by till rolls not being available, so not all the cashiers could deal with the shoppers. We all had a long wait to pay and a quick but small local shop took me away from home for around 40 mins.
The shop also appeared to be short of staff and one customer called out that more staff were needed. I saw 2 security men and 2 cashiers tho there may have been others out at the back.
The situation was unprofessional

It was tge first time to shop in this supermarket and thought it was very convenient as it is right by the main road, had everything I needed, and also the staff that served me were very friendly and helpful.

Has a lot of vegetables and fruits and typical supermarket items. Has pretty good prices. Was looking for no-perfume, dyes and sensitive skin hair and face products. Was so happy to find the brand "Simple" sold here.

A very disappointing visit to ASDA just before Christmas. The website says they are open until midnight the whole week before Christmas eve. We arrived at 11pm and everything was already locked, while some customers were struggling to get out. One of the security guards told us they were closed, but as soon as we said that on the website it clearly stated that they are supposed to be open until midnight and we specifically came there to do the food shopping for the next day relying on that, he clarified that since they had no customers they closed down but still let us through. There was another customer trying to get in with us (who was also surprised that they were closed already), who came inside with us. Just as we grabbed the basket and went to reach for the first item from our shopping list, another member of staff rushed over, telling us that they are closed and that we must leave, since the manager told them to close at 10.30pm. We once again mentioned how they are meant to be opened, the gentleman started saying that its the bigger stores that are open but their manager told them to shut the shop down no matter what. We understand that the staff want to go home earlier the day before Christmas eve, but if the shop is meant to be open until midnight, it is has to stay open until midnight. We left the store without any shopping done and very disappointed from ASDA's failure to comply with its "promises" and their decision to close down early because of their personal preferences. Really makes us question the competence of such a manager in that store.
