Ashbourne Road District Allotment Association Limited

Our aim is to maintain and develop the Allotment Association through supporting Plot Holders, Associate Members and their families to allow them to participate in allotmenteering and to provide an effective, productive and enjoyable community resource. The soil on site is productive and reasonably fertile but this can vary between allotments and how the allotments has been used in recent times. The Allotments support a huge range of produce. Allotments are a great form of relaxation and exercise but can be challenging at times. Our plot holders are a great group of people who are only too willing to help each other. The site is owned by Derby City Council and leased to us. The ARDAA is registered with, and overseen by, the Financial Conduct Authority as a not for profit organisation under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act.
