PARKING There is only parking available onsite for disabled visitors, all other visitors please park in the town car parks: South street Car Park LE65 1BH, North Street Car park LE65 1HU (charges apply).

Ashby de la Zouch Castle forms the backdrop to the famous jousting scenes in Sir Walter Scott's classic novel of 1819, Ivanhoe. Now a ruin, the castle began as a manor house in the 12th century.
