Ashcombe Birth Centre Description
The Ashcombe Birth centre is a standalone Birth unit based at Weston general hospital, Weston Super Mare.
The Ashcombe team of midwives, maternity care assistants, community midwives and maternity support workers guide and support women and their families through pregnancy, labour and new parenthood in a relaxed setting. The Ashcombe team also promote and support women with active birth positions, aromatherapy oils, and massage and hypnobirthing techniques facilities.
Ashcombe Birth Centre includes 2 en-suite birthing rooms, both including a range of equipment, and one includes a birthing pool if women wish for a water birth. Women who are having a low risk pregnancy are welcome to give birth at Ashcombe Birth centre.
