With possible snow forecast for this week, we have a number of ways to keep you informed of any school closures. You can sign up for text or email alerts via Staffordshire County Council's website, announcements on local radio, and of course we will keep you informed via our usual methods - texts to parents and our website.

Reminder for Year 1 & 2 parents: children will need their P.E. Kits in school tomorrow and Dove Class have their last Forest School session tomorrow so will need to come in their FS clothes.

Year 1 and 2 parents:
We will be dismissing the children from the hall after the disco as the playground will be dark. Please come into the school hall from the front entrance and the children will be dismissed as usual.
Nursery and reception will be dismissed from their usual doors.

The children in Year 1 and 2 have been very busy writing their letters to Father Christmas this week. Take a sneaky peak at some of them....

We have quite a few exciting things going on in school over the next week so here is a reminder for you all:
Friday 14th - Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas Lunch
Monday 17th - Whole school Christmas Disco 3:45 - 5pm
... Wednesday 19th - Party Day - children can come to school in their party clothes
Friday 21st - Non - uniform and toy day (children can bring one toy in a named carrier bag)

Dove Class parents. There will be no Forest School on Monday due to Christmas production rehearsals.
Tuesday (Squirrel Class) & Thursday (Fox Class) sessions will go ahead as planned.

We will be selling these Christmas Eve sets at the Christmas Fair. £2 a set which includes a book, reindeer food and a drinks cone 🎄🎅🏻

Don't forget it's our Friends of Ashcroft non-uniform day tomorrow. Children can come to school in their own clothes and bring a bottle donation for our Christmas Fair. Thank you for support over the last few weeks - we really do appreciate it 😍

Ashcroft are taking part in an annual Tamworth tradition by decorating a Christmas tree for St Editha’s Church. The Reception children made beautiful stars and the Nursery children painted and decorated little pine cones.
We would love our Ashcroft families to visit St. Editha’s Church to see the tree on display. You can buy a token (raising funds for the church) and vote for your favourite tree too. The Christmas Tree Festival will then be open to the public until Thursday November 29th, including throughout the Christmas lights switch on event on Sunday November 25th. The winners of each category are announced at the end of the Festival 🤞🏻

Don’t forget to let us know if your child DOES NOT want a Christmas lunch on Friday 14th December (please see menu). We are also providing all nursery children with a Christmas lunch (free of charge) so please let Mrs Brown know whether you would like them to stay. Children can be collected from nursery at 12:30pm (for those who are morning only).
