Mr Terry Chambers bought Ashfields in the spring of 2003 with the aim of fulfilling a dream of creating the ideal stable yard for carriage driving plus a carriage museum and has now transformed it into Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club as a state of the art equestrian competition centre.
Set in 500 acres of beautiful Essex country- side with 80 acres of post and rail fenced grass paddocks, Ashfields offers a wide range of equestrian facilities, events and a fully catered, licensed function suite.
In 2011 Ashfields became a registered charity - Ashfields Equestrian Trust. Registered Charity No 1143284

We are really excited about this here at Ashfields. Clubhouse will be open from 9.30 onwards for breakfast, lunch and light refreshments. We look forward to seeing everyone.

Wilf, Zoe and all the team at Ashfields could not be more accommodating. Their training days, private tuition and World Class facilities are simply 'exceptional' .
Visited with West Essex District Association of the Camping & Caravanning Club for a weekend rally. Lovely flat field for camping, a club house if we wanted it, and horses and carriages to watch as well. Will keep a lookout for this site on the rally calendars with a keen view to revisit.

This is my second time here, beautiful venue
Absolutely beautiful venue, was going to hold my 21st here! I wanted someone higher class and elegant but I should of known most places you try and get that you also get rude stuck up service... I drove there with my mum to take a look around and the lady seemed far to busy to even entertain us, like we wasn’t good enough to have there or hire out the venue.. discussing behaviour to say the least. The venue is gorgeous though.. if you can get past the service then I’d recommend �
