Ashford International Train Station
Reviews
Helpful staff, lifts, somewhere to get a hot drink, clearly signed. What more do you want from a station?
I like the station it is one of the only things I like about modern Ashford but I do find some of the South Eastern staff on the platforms and at the barrier very rude in the way they speak to you I think they could do with a lesson in providing a good service and being friendly , but I must say the guys that are in the ticket office are very pleasant friendly and helpful .
This station is devoid of a soul and therefore attempts to suck the life out of the living. I have spent hours of my life stuck here waiting for a connection to Brighton. I will never get any of this time back.
Used to be better, but then they installed the new ridiculous barriers on the "International side", so now it's a bit of a nightmare getting in and out. The station itself is fine, if not a bit boring and lacking in facilities. They should scrap the whole international side/domestic side thing. The international side is mainly used by commuters so they should have ticket machines and station staff on that side too.
Nice big station serving Ashford. Three train services operate here providing trains to multiple destinations around Kent. Trains and platforms are easy to find and get to, staff and helpful at getting where you need to be. The facilities are OK however I did find there was a lack of seating on one of the platforms. The station is definitely easily accessible with lifts to each platform.
I love ashford international
Thanks
