Great service, good food and fair prices!

Amazing service, and brilliant food. You get enough food for the prices... I think the decor is very calming and in general the restaurant is a great place to sit and enjoy a quiet meal i.e. a date or in a big group of individuals. I did not feel rushed to eat my food and there is a nice time between each course.

Ordered takaway. Naan and poppadom was nice. The chicken however was like rubber and string. Not good.The two different dishes tasted the same. Lots of colouring and minimal taste. Will have to look elsewhere for curry in Colchester

Ordered the take away meal for 2 people. When we got home we had two wrong currys and a wrong naan. Phoned and explained and the staff were more than helpful. Returned both the currys and the naan and received a new full order replacement.

Great food and excellent service, Mr.Abdul manages to make everyone feel like his best friend. Have been going here for as long as I can remember and I haven't found another local curry house that can compare.

Ordered meal for two deal plus extras.reasonable price.
Service and staff welcome was excellent.
Flat onion bhajee was odd always had ball shaped but tasted ok
Lamb Biriyani and veg curry very nice
Chicken passanda very nice
Poppadoms and dips very nice
Special rice very nice
Sag bargee lacked taste and had no flavour and we didn't finish.
Bhindi bhajee was very unpleasant in appearance, taste, and didn't finish.

Writing this review makes me realise how little it takes to spoil a meal. We have had worse, but unlikely to order again will keep searching for a better Indian takeaway in Colchester
