Twice daily I take my dog a walk up the lane where I live and pass three most beautiful, gentle horses in the nearby field. I have commented several times to friends and family how well looked after these horses are and that I thought that the owners must check the weather forecast constantly. If it's raining when I walk past in a morning the white horse already has his 'raincoat' on and if it's fine in the afternoon or the next day his coat has been removed!! This afternoon I actually met the owners for the first time on the lane and told them these must be the best looked-after horses I have ever seen. It's it is so heart warming to see animals treated so well. The owners told me they own Ashton Carriages and the horses are used for funerals and weddings so, as an animal lover, I thought I must write this post to tell the owners and their customers how good it was to meet such caring chaps and to wish them well with their business.

What a fantastic service horse the caaiage was stunning would highly recommend this for any body who wants to look like a princess be treated well the service is 5 star all the way

We used Ashton carriages for my beloved sisters funeral and they were amazing, such lovely people to deal with we had so many comments on how beautiful it was, I can't fault them. Thank you Bill Vicky and Ethan for helping to make a sad day very special x

The feedback review for this company in my own words is outstanding. The professionalism shown throughout dealing with Ashton carriages was second to non from the day we contacted them. A real hard working family business ( Billy, Vicky, Ethan, & little Gracie ) along with the main man frankie boy & his carriage we thank you all for all your fabulous hard work on what was such a hard day for all of us.

I'm the brides Mother Jane who hired thev horse n carriage for Karen n Adam on April 28th 2018 Bill n his lovely family was the most helpful n friendliest people I had met. Nothing was too much trouble. They we're so patient n helped in every way. The price was very reasonable n little extras like matching the coach n horses feathers to match the bridesmaids colour plus provided champagne n they came to the wedding venue in the evening and presented the happy couple with a beautiful horse shoe from the beautiful white horse Frankie boy. A delight to deal with n would recommend this company without any hesitation. Thanks Bill n family for making the wedding day so very special. I wish u all the best for your future business. Fantastic company and experience.

Exceptional service

We used Bill and family at Ashton Carrages for the funeral of my sister in law and have to say they went above and beyond Bill was helpful friendly and easy to talk to he even drove the route to be sure he knew exactly where he was going so there would be no mistakes the day before the funeral his son whom is himself very friendly and professional for such a young man ran the route with franky boy so he knew exactly where he was going the traffic road works etc, on the day they arrived early and as you can imagine the young ones just wanted to touch the horse and they where helped and encouraged to talk to and stroke the horse who is friendly and calm and never put a foot wrong on a long hot and at times difficult journey my Wounderful sister in law had a calm and peacful send off in part due to the amazing staff at Ashton Carrages so if you are planing a wedding a prom a wedding anaversary a christening or sadly a funeral please don't hesitate to call Bill I would highly recommend them and can't thank them enough I even received a call today to check everything was as we wanted and to ask about our wellbeing a true family business that provided the best service and did not charge the earth
