Took the family to the Sunday buffet lunch. Staff were eager to help and cheerful, food was excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend.

We had a large family and friends gathering to celebrate my sons 18th Birthday.

The food from the buffet was very nice. Not a huge selection on the buffet but what was on offer was very tasty and we could go up as often as we wanted. The buffet was kept full so nothing ran down low.

We have also been to the Ashuka in the evening and haven't been disappointed.

Really lovely place. Managed to get a last minute table on a Saturday night. Food was yummy we had a Naga curry. Rice and Nan was a little small but the poppadums and sides were lovely. Really friendly staff although they did take a while to clear our table. Can get noisy there but we were next to a huge bunch of people

Lovely restaurant and great friendly staff. Food arrived very quickly and was hot and totally delicious. The ambient lighting was romantic and felt very comfortable. It is a bit pricey but worth it. Will go again

Thanks Ashuka Tandoori. We ordered a takeaway from you on Friday. We informed you of a dairy allergy and asked you to confirm our choices were safe, which you did. Two of the dishes we ordered were the Mala King Prawn and the Pilau rice.

On Sunday after a long weekend involving a day with our baby in A&E on Saturday, we ordered from you again. You told us we couldn't have the Mala Prawn or the rice as they both have dairy in them.

What took us to hospital was our baby experiencing projectile vomiting, diarrhoea, refusing/struggling to feed off me, and developing an all over rash. He is allergic to dairy. We now know that his symptoms (which are still ongoing today) were caused by you wrongly telling us that your food was free of allergens, when it was not. This is serious enough; had he eaten it directly, it could have been even more so.

We told you we needed dairy free food because of an allergy. You told us the food was safe. It was not. You played Russian roulette with your customer’s lives, and you hospitalised our baby as a consequence.
