The Ashville Group is looking for an organised and efficient Weighbridge Operator & Admin Assistant to join our growing team. We are a group of companies involved in construction and transport industries, based within industrial estate in West Drayton UB7.
The successful candidate will need to be professional and have a mature approach to all they undertake and be willing to muck in as part of the team. Previous work experience operating and weighbridge, ticketing system and... administrative role within Transport and/or Construction industries would be preferred.
ūĚźĎūĚźěūĚź¨ūĚź©ūĚź®ūĚźßūĚź¨ūĚźĘūĚźõūĚźĘū Ěź•ūĚźĘūĚź≠ūĚźĘūĚźěūĚź¨, ūĚźõūĚźģūĚź≠ ūĚźßūĚź®ūĚź≠ ūĚź•ūĚźĘūĚź¶ūĚźĘūĚź≠ūĚźěūĚźĚ ūĚź≠ūĚź®: * Operating weighbridge and ticketing vehicles in/out * Sorting of daily tickets by drivers, clients and suppliers * Filing of paperwork, both current and archived * Assisting the team to provide support with the varied day-to-day administration duties * Liaising with Transport Manager, Operations Manager & Yard staff to ensure vehicle loading is correct and efficient * Liaising with accounts, credit control and drivers to ensure paperwork is correct * Update spreadsheets of materials in/out based on deliveries in/out * General office admin and any other administrative duties as required * Enter supplier invoices into system
ūĚźíūĚź§ūĚźĘūĚź•ūĚź•ūĚź¨, ūĚźäūĚźßūĚź®ūĚźįūĚź•ūĚźěūĚźĚūĚź†ūĚźě, ūĚźźūĚźģūĚźöūĚź•ūĚźĘūĚźüūĚźĘūĚźúūĚźöūĚź≠ū ĚźĘūĚź®ūĚźßūĚź¨ ūĚźöūĚźßūĚźĚ ūĚźĄūĚźĪūĚź©ūĚźěūĚźęūĚźĘūĚźěūĚźßūĚźúūĚźě: * Able to operate ticketing system of some sort * Minimum GCSE in Maths and English * Proficient user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Mac OS and quick to pick up new systems * Accurate data entry skills * Excellent administrative/organisational skills with the ability to self-manage, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines * A strong customer service ethos * Quick learner who learns from the consequences of their actions * The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently * The ability to build strong relationships with work colleagues, customers and suppliers * Filing of paperwork, both current and archived * The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5:30pm, with two Saturdays per month.
