Went yesterday with my fiance while on a day out in york, great place, lovely food & great service

Visited here last night for our daughter's 13th birthday meal (booked a few months ago via email - prompt and friendly response). Absolutely lovely evening. The food was delicious, the Christmas atmosphere was lovely and the man that looked after our table was great too! Really looked after us all. Our daughter and her friends had a great time. A lovely surprise too that the chocolate cake was brought over and the staff and other diners sang 'Happy Birthday'! Cannot wait to return! A huge thank you to all involved in making our daughter's 13th birthday so special. I can highly recommend. Thank you!!

Visited for the first time on Saturday. It was very busy but the service was excellent, only waited 10 minutes for food which was amazing. Would defo recommend xx

This was our second visit and again we were really pleased, the food was excellent I am gluten free and I ordered the pepperoni pizza which was first class the best I have eaten anywhere normally they are quite dry and floury this wasn’t it was really flavoursome, good waitress service and good atmosphere, will be visiting again.

Our mothers day meal was fantastic! We didnt feel rushed and our food was all freshly prepared. Our server Harry was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. A total star! We'll definitely be back. x

Lovely meal� my friend was also a vegan was happy with the menu, but when asking for a coffee after the meal the waiter said they wasn't no vegan milk ei soya milk or coconut milk

We came tonight and our main server was Kathryn. The building was gorgeous and great atmosphere.There was a valentines menu, but also the normal menu , which i loved as many places only offer a set menu when it's an occassion.

Kathryn was super helpful, and accomodating with my ingredient changes. Bubbly and professional.

We will Definatley be back. Thankyou Emma and Gav xx

Fab food. Catered for my gluten issues with no troubles at all. Not a scrap of food left by the kids either. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Enjoyed some lovely food here last night. Gluten free options were pointed out for one of our party. The house red was excellent. The baked aubergine parmigiana? were scrumptious. Attentive service and best of all, a stunning venue.

Cannot recommend this please enough. Nothing too much trouble.....Manager, staff, helpful, friendly even gave my wife a special sweet as it is her birthday.

Came here for a Valentines meal and I couldn't fault anything from the second we entered to the moment we left. The food was delicious and full of flavour, the service was spot on and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return.

Beautiful building, great food and service,would definitely recommend.

Lovely classic Italian look food and drinks was fabulous great staff polite and hardworking and comfortable place to for any occasional meal

Great experience on the 25/5/18. Great food, good service and nothing too much trouble!! It was my friends x2 birthday and our waiter provided a slice of cheesecake with a candle for them at no cost!! Lovely ambience and just a fab night!! Free liminchello as he dropped plates over me thank fully empty!! Was just a lovely night and a great waiter!!

When for my birthday meal with the family, even tho we had made a booking we were left waiting at the door for a while. Food was good, the service was ok. Had to wait a bit for the food to come but then it did it all came quickly

The building is worth the visit more than the food. It was enjoyable but in my opinion typical chain of restaurants food. I've eaten at authentic Italian way Momma makes it for less. It was busy, but felt order to service was delayed. I didn't like the automatically added service charge either. That's a beware for anyone who doesn't check the bill before handing your card/cash over.
