Aspirations Tameside College Description
Aspirations, part of Tameside College, is a purpose-built facility with superb equipment and specialist resources to meet the needs of students with a wide range of learning difficulties and or disabilities.
Students access a wide range of courses including the Learning Pathways and study for nationally recognised qualifications.
Dovestones aims to provide a package of multi-disciplinary support to all students, in addition to the college tutors, support and care staff; we have a physiotherapy team, speech and language therapy, nursing staff and support for visual and hearing impairment.
Students work towards various progression opportunities post their 3 years at Dovestones, including the Learning Pathways, other courses and day provision.
Reviews
Gemma, Ben, Jasmine, Tom, Aiden, Ryanna and Kane have been filling pots, planting wheelbarrows, washing out old planters for re potting and making windmills this week, which are all on sale, outside Aspirations.
We have 8 Wheelbarrow's left at £10 each, Peas for 50p a tray, Chrysanthemum's 5 for £1 and Teasel 5 for £1. As well as various planters. Please use the honesty box if staff are not available. Thank you for your continued support.
The enterprise student's have been busy again and produced these fantastic mugs for fathers day. The mug's are £2 each and the travel mug's are £3. If you would like to order one, please message below, inbox or send a message in diaries. Thank you for your continued support.

Today we used fresh fruit to make mocktails.
Thanks to Lisa Miller, #LeonardCheshire Can Do and The Royal Yacht Association, Ben, Stephen, Aaron, Ryan, Brandon, Oliver, Ashley, Dylan, Liam & Yvette recieved their Bronze certificate in sailing today. Congratulations everyone.
The students tried Canoeing today.
We made Manchester Bee's and placed them on the memory tree.
Lifeskills was turned into a New York Burger joint today. Looks delicious.
In lifeskills we looked at America and the students enjoys New York burgers and fries.
This week is Enrichment week and today the students enjoyed making dream catchers.
