Assembly Passage Project Description

Assembly Passage Project is a timely exhibition and writing project that explores three site-specific solo-commissions through a semi-private urban site in the heart of London’s East End. It aims to interrogate the conditions of today’s cultural visibility by exploiting disruptive places of passage, through specific methods of making /showing art. The challenge for each commissioned artist and writer lies in drawing from the materials of architecture that are already in place and the mutability of the urbanity that surrounds it.
