associate is an academically focused app for day-to-day organisation and group collaboration that is exclusively for Further and Higher Education students. We are a new company whose mission is to improve students' engagement at college and university to further their success and getting the most out of their time in education. We are keen workers, avid believers in students, and we see the true value of effective team-working between them. So, what's our problem?At University, we had to work in groups for assignments and the apps we used for communication were Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. These are good, but they're distracting and unfit for purpose. We end up switching between platforms just to organise a meeting: For example, checking your timetable and comparing with your multiple group members, finding a meeting location etc. We asked ourselves. Why isn't everything we need in one app?There's plenty of collaboration platforms, but the core values are not directly focused on Further Education students. They are ‘'one-size-fits-all'' type of platformsSo, what's our solution?An app with student only login, connected to the institution, timetable comparison, organised group chats, individual planning, notifications for meetings and deadlines, file sharing and more. We work alongside institutions, adapting the platform to their needs, and designed to be scalable. The app every student needs! The latest National Student Survey 2019 found that only 84% of students were satisfied with the quality of their course. Our vision is to help push this number up.
