About Associateship Of King'S College London
The Associateship of King’s College (AKC) course is the original award of King's College London.
Associateship Of King'S College London Description
The Associateship of King’s College (AKC) course enables students to develop an enquiring mind, to be educated about important issues extending beyond their particular chosen field of study. This concern dates from the foundation of King’s College London, with its values summarised in the motto ‘sancte et sapienter’ (with holiness and wisdom).
The AKC course is open to all students and staff at King's. The AKC course normally takes three years to complete and runs alongside your degree course. However special arrangements pertain to various two-year programmes.
Lectures are held on Mondays during term time at 12pm in the Arthur and Paula Lucas Lecture Theatre (Strand Campus) and DVD showings of these lectures occur throughout the week on all four KCL campuses. See the website for further details.
