Astley Community High School Description
Welcome to the ONLY official Facebook site for Astley Community High in Seaton Delaval.
Astley Community High School is a mixed 13-18 comprehensive school maintained by Northumberland Local Authority. We are part of the Seaton Valley Federation of Schools, within Seaton Valley, together with Whytrig and Seaton Sluice Middle Schools. We are proud of being a community school at the heart of the local community.
Whilst promoting a collective ethos of fulfilment, individual value and enjoyment, we acknowledge that our young people are individuals who possess differing strengths but who have a common entitlement.
Our purpose is to provide a learning environment in which we facilitate the best possible variety of opportunities and challenges to enable all to achieve their potential. Students at our school have access to in school careers and connexions services, our community library, indoor swimming pool and brand new Apple Mac Creative Suite.
