Around 15 years ago these two walked into Wigan ABC - one was a little bit chubby and very uncoordinated and the other used to get a nosebleed every night during the warm up! Over 100 amateur fights later one is an undefeated professional and the other is helping with some coaching until work commitments allow a return to the ring. Made me very proud to see them working together tonight 💚

Very sad! I remember Donovan very well coming through the novice championships boxing for Gorton at the same time as some of our lads. If you followed him on social media after his move to the States he appeared happy and like he had a lot going for him. Just goes to show you can never tell what people are thinking... 😔

This lad has had a HARD week! Three tough spars and a load of fitness work. In 2019 we are going to see the real Kai Penno 👌

Get down and support your local amateur boxers. Who knows - you might see a future pro champion taking his first steps on the boxing ladder...
