Went Saturday for first time hay what a great place and only 20 mins from were I live staff in tackle shop really nice guys and helpful will be going on alot of matches now great job guys

This is one if not the best fishery in the

S25, S26 area.

Alex and his staff cannot do enough for you and it is always with a smile.

Kevin the guy in the bait shop has a vast knowledge of experience to share about the fishery and fishing in general.

Look out "NOW" for the different winter leagues starting very soon thay R popular so if you R one of the estranged people that like fishing in the rain and snow

I’ve been twice in the last couple of weeks and the venue firstly is situated perfectly just off the M1. The facilities are great with a lovely cafe that does a great breakfast and fully stocked tackle shop and the owner is a right nice chap to boot.

The fishing is fantastic, as a canal angler I love fishing for silvers and Aston offers you the best ide fishing I’ve seen plus the massive head of carp make for a great mixed day.

I’m sure I’ll be a regular face at the fishery when I’m not tied up with team leagues.

It's a place you must go and fish nice breakfast nice people that run it fished first time there yesterday had 27lb of small carp chub 50lb won match but it was a fish a chuck worm and caster next time I go I got all mine on meat tight lines

I always enjoy Aston,great breakfast,Infact one of the best around,brilliant tackle shop with great friendly advice and last but certainly not least the fishing is top class

Following some advice from the owner, I had a great day bagging! Looking forward to my club matches on the venue and I hope to have a bash at the opens and/or winter league too. Lovely food ÔøΩ and a well stocked tackle shop. ÔøΩ What more could you want?

Fished for the first time on Tuesday with my son and father. Made very welcome by Alex who was really helpful. Had a great day on Lanta with my boy. First fish he has ever caught was a 3 lb Tench and after a run of roach and bream ended the day with a 10lb plus carp.

Cracking fishery bailiff and people in the tackle shops are all top people and are there to help you catch and enjoy yourself I fished Lilly lake and had 6 carp thanks to everyone who helped with my broken reel, the regulars are again top people and I will be back soon�also, the road isn’t as bad as what people are making it out to be, my mum got down there easily with a bmw and don’t really understand what’s the big problem with it

Been up for the first time in years with my lad for a kids match on Bills lake .

Very impressed with the place now very clean and well set out nice pegs with plenty of room and fish . I will be back myself soon for some matches and pleasure session and a quick big breakfast

Always a great place to fish - all levels and abilities. The food is pretty awesome too and with a well stocked tackle shop on hand to deal with all those little bits you’ve forgotten you just can’t go wrong!

Absolutely quality fishery, the place is well laid out with a fully stocked tackle shop and cafe. Mag, caster priced at competitive prices, breakfast was spot on. Fishing was great with bites to be had throughout the day. Nice to see a place which isn't just stocked with carp and F1's

Great breakfast, room was a very cold but then it is early March and I’m sure people are coming in about a lot. I don’t fish anymore but the shop looks full of tackle and they have just started an extension so will be even bigger. Nice set up all round.

It was over crowded

Loads of kids messing around

Told them to pack it in or they would get thrown off .

I know they will turn into fisherman one day ?

I didn't catch a single fish .

But the kids once they settled down

Landed a nice little carp .

I will probably come back on a quieter day ?

I’ve been to Aston ponds today, first time in 30 years.. and what a shock I got, firstly the road is a total disgrace it’s not car worthy.. next time if I do ever go again I will park in the bottom car park just off main road to save my car springs from being wrecked.. lots of ponds, I should think it’s great for match fishing,

It’s good for disabled anglers as all paths and pegs are hardcore

Fished a match on lanta fished rubbish went for a practice week before only to have a employee strimming for hours around us only stopped when told to fuck off
